Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, concise answers to common questions about our products,
Research Use Only / Compliance
What does “Research Use Only” mean?
“Research Use Only” means the product is intended solely for qualified laboratory, analytical, or educational research settings. These materials are not intended to be used in or on humans or animals.
Any information provided on this website is for general educational and product-identification purposes only and should not be interpreted as medical advice, treatment advice, dosing guidance, or usage instructions.
Are your products approved by the FDA?
No. Zora Peptide products have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
All products are sold strictly as research materials. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase, possession, handling, storage, and use of any product complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Is Zora Peptide a pharmacy or compounding pharmacy?
No. Zora Peptide is not a pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, medical clinic, telehealth provider, 503A compounding facility, or 503B outsourcing facility.
We do not sell prescription medications, compounded medications, or products intended for human or veterinary use.
Do I need a prescription to purchase from Zora Peptide?
No prescription is required because Zora Peptide products are not sold for medical, human, or veterinary use. They are sold strictly for laboratory research purposes.
Purchasing from Zora Peptide means you agree that the products will only be used for lawful research purposes.
Do you provide dosing, injection, or reconstitution advice?
No. For compliance reasons, Zora Peptide does not provide dosing instructions, injection guidance, human-use protocols, cycle advice, medical advice, or reconstitution instructions for personal use.
Any request related to human or animal use cannot be answered by our team.
Product Testing & Quality
Are Zora Peptide products third-party tested?
Yes. Zora Peptide is focused on transparency and quality verification. Products may be submitted for independent third-party testing to help verify identity, purity, and other quality markers.
Available test results may vary by product and batch.
What is a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis, often called a COA, is a document that reports testing information for a specific product or batch. COAs may include information such as identity confirmation, purity percentage, net peptide content, or other quality-related testing.
COAs help researchers verify that they are working with properly identified research materials.
What types of testing may be performed?
Depending on the product and batch, testing may include:
HPLC purity analysis
LC-MS or mass spectrometry identity verification
Net peptide content
Endotoxin testing
Microbial testing
Residual solvent testing
Heavy metals testing
Additional quality screening when available
Testing availability may vary by product, supplier, batch, and laboratory.
What does HPLC purity testing show?
HPLC testing helps measure the purity profile of a peptide sample by separating and identifying the major compound compared to impurities or related substances.
Purity testing is one of the most common quality checks used in research peptide verification.
What does LC-MS testing show?
LC-MS, or liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry, helps confirm product identity by comparing the measured molecular mass against the expected molecular mass of the compound.
This helps verify that the tested material matches the intended peptide identity.
What is endotoxin testing?
Endotoxin testing screens for certain bacterial endotoxins that may be present in a sample. This is an important quality-control test for research materials where contamination awareness matters.
Are all batches tested the same way?
Not always. Different products may require different testing methods. Some batches may have more extensive testing than others depending on product type, lab availability, supplier documentation, and internal quality standards.
For the most accurate information, review the available COA or contact our support team before purchasing.
Where can I find COAs?
COAs may be available on product pages, by batch number, through a COA lookup page, or by contacting Zora Peptide support.
If you need a specific COA before ordering, please contact us with the product name and batch number if available.
Products & Handling
What form do the products come in?
Most Zora Peptide products are supplied as lyophilized powder unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Product appearance may vary slightly by peptide, batch, vial size, and manufacturing process.
Why does the amount of powder look small?
Peptides are measured in milligrams, so the visible amount of material in a vial may look small even when the labeled quantity is correct.
The appearance of lyophilized material can vary depending on density, formulation, freeze-drying conditions, and how the material settles during shipping.
Does the product need to be refrigerated?
Storage requirements may vary by product. In general, many lyophilized research peptides are commonly stored in cool, dry conditions and protected from light.
Always refer to the product label, product page, or COA for product-specific storage information.
What is the best way to handle research peptides?
Research peptides should be handled only by qualified individuals using appropriate laboratory practices, protective equipment, and safe storage procedures.
Products should be kept out of reach of children and pets and should never be used for human or animal consumption.
